Junior/Young Riders

Special programs for junior riders can be arranged directly with Stacy. Contact Timberlane Farm for more details.

Scheduling Lessons
To ensure that each student's lesson requirements are met, we ask that you meet with your child's instructor directly at the beginning of each month to schedule your lessons for that month.

Lesson Options
Private 1 hour lesson
Group 1 hour lesson

Lesson time includes instruction in grooming, leading, tacking, bathing, un-tacking, as well as riding.

As each student becomes able to be an independent rider, we like to place them in a group lesson with 1-2 other riders.

Leasing
On occasion, horses and ponies become available for full and partial leases. As students reach a proficiency that ensures safety and proper development, we work on an individual bases to arrange for leasing.

Pony Club
Timberlane farm bases our pony weeks and lessons on the United States Pony Club training manuals. We strongly suggest that all students look into joining this program as well. You can find more information at the organizations website, www.ponyclub.org.

Vaulting
Timberlane has been hosting a vaulting team since 2005.
